The hunt takes place in Fox Oregon which is about 30 miles from the town of John Day Oregon which is about a 30-minute drive. There are numerous options for food and lodging in John Day including hotels or Airbnb rentals.

 

There is no hunting license required to participate as we are hunting on private lands.

 

You will shoot from an elevated platform with shooting bags and chairs. Or from our newly designed Monster Mini truck designed perfectly for being able to be mobile to different hunting locations throughout the day. A guide will be included for all hunts.

 

Your day will consist of meeting at 8am with shooting starting around 8:30am and we will shoot until about 12pm, take a short break for lunch in the town of Long Creek which is about 5 miles drive from the shoot location. Shooting will resume at 2 pm and conclude at 5 pm.

 

We will also provide coffee in the morning with beverages and snacks provided throughout the day. No alcohol will be provided or consumed during the hunt hours.

 

The preferred weapon is the .17 HMR or a .22 rifle. In certain locations, you can use a centerfire rifle such as a .223, but plan on bringing more than one option. Also, bring about 300 rounds of ammo for the day.

We also have the option to rent you a .17 HMR with a 3x9 scope for $50 a day, you will still be responsible for your own ammo.

We are open Thursday- Sunday. We can accommodate groups of up to 8 people. If you book the entire day for a group of 8 a 10% discount will apply. A 2-hunter minimum is required on all dates. We will accept single-person shooters if there are more than 2 hunters already booked for that date.

 

To make your reservations go to our calendar and pick your dates, complete the liability release, and pay your hunt fee.

 

If you have to cancel you must do so within 15 days of the hunt date and you will be refunded 50% of your reservation fee.

** We reserve the right to move your hunt dates based on weather and hunt availability. We will do our best to accommodate your hunts in the same year but guarantee you hunt dates for the following year.**

Hunt cost is $300 per day per shooter.
